LADIDA INTERVIEWS NUNUNU
Our begining was as basic as it can get - for about a year we were in talks amongst ourselves about what this brand will be like, it's concept, its vibe and then started learning how to do so. As both of us came from different worlds that were parelle to fashion (Iris was a fashion stylist and Tali an art director) - there was a lot to learn, literally everything and that's what we did.
We think it has to do with a few factors - when nununu started out, it was a pioneer in the kids world with a brand that dresses babies and kids with black and skulls... it was pretty unheard of back then, and luckily for us a tribe grew around us and with us...it also has a lot to do with the fact that our clothes are very minimal and simple BUT MOST IMPORTANT - They are comfortable!!!!!!
It pretty much goes together, when nununu was born, we both had small babies at home - and everyone grew up together. nununu is our mutual baby and all families grew up together and are very much a part of eachothers lives.
It is a day in a life just like every other working mom that tries to juggle everything together - hectic mornings of getting everyone ready and out of the house on time and then straight to the office - our second home!
we are lucky enough to work in a warm, outrageously funny enviorment that coming to work is always fun! evern at the most hectic times!
the nununu crew counts about 17 - ALL women ALL mothers and 1 very brave gentelman who is our CEO.... this bunch is our ninja crew and we all tackle eachday together with crazy energies...
nununu's design concept is very much a derivative of our personal style - black, minimalist with a flare for a touch of drama every once in awhile.
